1-1 maths tuition

1-1 maths sessions are tailored to the student’s specific needs and learning style. Children are provided with undivided attention, where they can communicate freely, gain confidence and progress at their own pace. I value the relationships I build with my students and find the trust and openness that develops fuels academic success.

All lesson plans are aligned to national curriculums, the exam board your child is sitting, or specific topics of your choice. Feedback is provided to parents after each session and detailed written progress reports given termly. Sessions last an hour and are delivered online.

"Annie has remarkable patience and empathy for kids who struggle with maths. She helped my highly anxious child in the buildup to her maths GCSE, a subject nobody thought she would pass. 5 tutors had failed where Annie excelled. She and my daughter connected immediately: she patiently imparted nuggets, tricks and simple methods that allowed the lightbulb to switch on. My daughter passed and we all know that was largely due to Annie. She's a miracle maker"

"I was really impressed by Annie's communication and organisation, as well as the content and teaching of the workshops themselves. The feedback and notes helped me see where Riley is at. Riley thoroughly enjoyed (Annie's) teaching style and the content of the course. She found it very useful to consolidate her learning. She is now feeling much more confident."

- Margeaux, Riley's mum

Maths summer school

“When I went to Annie’s summer school, she really helped me with maths and I’m a lot more confident now. I also really enjoyed the math mystery challenge. She’s very patient and never gets cross, she explained it really well so I could understand it and she made the learning a fun experience”
